Pleasant Mount Emergency Services(PMES) is a all volunteer Fire and EMS company located in Wayne County Northeast PA. PMES is culmination of many years of negotiation to merge two area fire departments, Mount Pleasant Volunteer Fire Department and Belmont Fire Company. Each company felt it was a necessary move to better serve the community. The merger was completed in 2001 and Pleasant Mount Emergency Services became the new department.
